Created by tattoo artist Megyn Olivia, Ash & Alter is rooted in transformation and the idea that change doesn’t require a blank slate. Influenced by her Indigenous roots and the imagery that shapes her work, it gives Megyn’s art a place to exist beyond skin in pieces made to be worn, collected, and lived with.

Ash is what remains after something has burned or changed form. Alter is the choice to work with what’s already there and turn it into something new. Together, they reflect what Megyn loves about tattooing: marking what we want to carry with us, transforming what we’ve outgrown, and adding new layers to what already exists.
